We would like to wish you all a very happy new year and hope it is safe, fun-filled and musical!

Here is our latest Newsletter

We are back in the saddle firmly working towards yet another great festival

Last years festival was great from our point of view and although it was a break-even year the artistic side of the festival was a pure joy.  We have a few items of news for you in this update and we will endeavour to bring you a new update each month until the festival with all that is new and exciting.

C.I.C.  This is the acronym for Community Interest Company. This is a model for community organisations to be limited company with many the benefits of charitable status. What it does for you is to ensure that the future of the organisation stays exactly the same as it is now with no profits being made by anyone and all surplus and assets being locked into the organisation.

The committee worked really hard to secure this position and a great vote of thanks go to them. The new company name is Chippenham Folk Festival CIC …. but you can just call it Chippfolk like you always have!

We already have a splendid line up of artists that cover just about every thing you would want to do over the weekend.head over to the artists section of the web site for the latest.

There are also many workshops planned and we will be putting these up onto this blog site as and when they are finalised.

The Big Top Concerts.
The first of these is ‘Scotland! This is my Country’. This show will include performances from Isla St Clair, The Pipes and Drums of the Scots Guards Association, Mrs Bruce’s Boys, The Caledonia Achushla Dancers, Hector Gilchrist & Moira Craig and locals The Hopscotch Scottish Dancers. 200 Individual tickets are also available for this and other Big Top concerts priced at £14. Season Ticket holders are free - space allowing.
