Food!

Food, Glorious Food!
We all like, and need, great food over the weekend and we have a nice range for you in various places at the festival.
Food traders play a hugely important role for festival goers as they are always open at the times when they are needed, they provide a much needed finance stream into the festivals struggling coffers and they provide a great atmosphere where you can enjoy a bit of down time whilst sampling some of their goods. Please support them as they need us as much as we need them

On Island Park
We aim to provide a range of different foods at the festival to suit all tastes.
Long gone are the days when we had someone like our old favourites, Chez Nous, where you could sit down and have a full scale quality meal.
However we do hope that the choices we are able to provide will suit what you want whether it's a great cup of Coffee or a slap up plate of Fish & Chips.
Here are some of the people we have so far on the park:

The Creperie
The lovely Sonia and Simon will charm you into trying one of her delicious  Crepes with a variety of savoury and sweet fillings.

FHC Churros
Fernando has the Churro Wagon with the popular Spanish style doughnuts. Also a small range of multi-coloured ice cream

Flaming Pizzas
Peters Wood Burning  Pizza oven produced a delightfully flavoursome pizza. Some proper gourmet burgers are on offer too.

Splitscreen Ice Cream
With their vintage VW van Splitscreen supply some of the best local Ice Cream. Luvverly stuff.

Whitby Fish & Chips
Fresh fish brought all the way from Whitby with these great Fish and Chips chaps. Delicious!

Lemon drinks
Sally is our regular Lemonade Lady and nice it is too.. Real lemons bought locally and made fresh for you there and then.

The Sausage and Sweet Cart
Some of the best and biggest sausages you could want all served up with a choice of accompaniments.
The sweet stall next to it has a huge range of sticky and sweet items to make your mouth water
